Our company was built from a long-time goal shared by three swimming pool professionals with 50 years of combined work in pool design, pool building, and pool care. We focus on creating custom swimming pools that look beautiful, work well, and give families a better backyard to enjoy.
Homer Elam’s Background in Gunite Pool Construction
Homer Elam brings a strong background in commercial construction and has worked in the gunite pool industry since 2005. After Hurricane Katrina changed much of the greater New Orleans area, he gained deep knowledge in gunite pool renovation, pool equipment, and pool operation before moving into custom pool design, installation, and large-scale project management. His hands-on background helps Poseidon Pools build swimming pools with careful planning, solid workmanship, and close attention to detail.
Aimee Elam’s Award-Winning 3D Pool Design Work
Aimee Elam grew up in the pool building industry and started designing swimming pools in 2005 using 3D pool design software. She quickly became a leading pool designer, reaching more than $1 million in pool sales in her first year and continuing that level of production year after year. She has earned several national pool design awards and is known for creating custom swimming pool designs that match each homeowner’s space, style, and goals.
Dustin Ducote’s Pool Service and Construction Background
Dustin Ducote adds strong knowledge in pool service, pool maintenance, and construction management. He owned a successful pool service company for 14 years and learned every part of maintaining and servicing gunite swimming pools. Before that, he spent nearly 18 years as a project manager in electrical and commercial construction, giving Poseidon Pools added skill in job coordination, systems, and long-term pool performance.
